Treffpunkt ist das Kassenfoyer der Volksbühne.

Bis zur Vollendung des Admiralspalastes verweilt Familie Flöz (Ristorante Immortale, Teatro Delusio u.a.) in der Akademie der Künste und wird dort am 5. Oktober ihr neuestes Werk “INFINITA – Ein Stück voller Artistik, Magie, Clownerie und Maskentheater” uraufführen.

Sure, I’m not the only one fascinated by dots: Yayoi Kusama‘s Installation “Dots Obsession” (until 3rd of october at Neue Nationalgalerie, Berlin) is really cool. I really really like it.
She received the Praemium Imperiale this year and seems to have some sort of pathologic hallucination-thing going on since she was young.

Yayoi Kusama said about her painting titled “Flower” in 1954:

“One day I was looking at the red flower patterns of the tablecloth on a table, and when I looked up I saw the same pattern covering the ceiling, the windows and the walls, and finally all over the room, my body and the universe. …”

Walking through her installation is quite spacy – a bit like Alice in Wonderland: big balloons with white spots, the walls and floor the same. Huge mirrors make you feel the room is endless..

Yesterday I was asked where I got those Kickers for adults from. (They are normally known as kids-shoes with the red and green spot underneath, to identify left and right foot). I found them at Eisdieler, a berlin fashionlabel and shop, founded in 1995. The shop they started off with, was an old icecreamshop (german: Eisdiele) at Auguststraße, Berlin – so that’s where the name comes from. They have lots of other fancy things besides shoes and sneakers, e.g. juwelry from Mr. Powersaw, Bagjack-Bags and berlin fashionlabels like Gossip 67, Wild Spirit and other local streetwear. And for the kickers-shoes, I’m sure you can get them at other places too.
