In France Azure is often used to describe the Mediterranean Sea; like in Côte d’Azur / French Riviera and is a color somewhere between blue and cyan. The Pigments of Azure Paint is made from Azurite Cu3(CO3)2(OH)2.

February is the best periode to see the real “azure” blue.
