From a distance, the Spinnaker Tower looks like a huge sailingboat in the harbour of Portsmouth. Rotated by 90 Degrees, like here, it looks like a bridge up to the sky. Elegant curves, either way round. The 27m spire was lifted into place by crane, not so long ago and I’m looking forward to have a view on the sea and coastline from up there .
