This years design of the CCC‘s Chaos Communication Congress (27th – 30th december, at bcc, Berlin) is inspired by scifi-classic Brazil and will be accompanied by the motto “Who can you trust?”. A first bit of 23C3 Congress Propaganda can be spotted on the 23C3 Congress Wiki.

The Call for Participation for the 23C3 deadlines tomorrow, so the countdown is running if you wish to participate with a talk. (Final papers or slides are due by November 15th, 2006)

Yesterday I was asked where I got those Kickers for adults from. (They are normally known as kids-shoes with the red and green spot underneath, to identify left and right foot). I found them at Eisdieler, a berlin fashionlabel and shop, founded in 1995. The shop they started off with, was an old icecreamshop (german: Eisdiele) at Auguststraße, Berlin – so that’s where the name comes from. They have lots of other fancy things besides shoes and sneakers, e.g. juwelry from Mr. Powersaw, Bagjack-Bags and berlin fashionlabels like Gossip 67, Wild Spirit and other local streetwear. And for the kickers-shoes, I’m sure you can get them at other places too.

Cola Cao ist ein ausgesprochen leckerer Kakao aus Spanien.
Der Werbespot “Yo soy aqel negrito, del Africa tropical” machte das Produkt wohl besonders bei Kindern beliebt.
Aber auch Erwachsene haben anscheinend ihren Spass damit.

Back from catalan Barcelona, it’s time to flip through the pictures I’ve taken.
In fact, I wouldn’t mind going back to delicious jamón with tasty red wine in the evenings, on long beaches and beautiful castles (like on Montjuic with an awesome view) – surrounded by warm breezes that make you feel it’s still summer!
Producing the “Highlight Session” slides of the WCC 2006 was a lot of fun too.
