“Zwei Positionen zeitgenössischer deutscher Fotografie”

Zentrales Thema der Arbeiten beider Künstlerinnen ist die Darstellung ihres unmittelbaren sozialen Umfeldes. Die Portraits von Claudia Rorarius stellen Menschen aus ihrem engsten Freundes- und Verwandtenkreis in den Mittelpunkt und konzentrieren sich auf intensive Portraits von Kindern und Jugendlichen, die einen Blick in ihr Innertes zulassen, ohne ihr Gegenüber zu kennen. Ihnen gemeinsam ist eine spontane Art des Fotografierens und doch unterscheiden sich die Ergebnisse deutlich voneinander.
